John Morton the head if ICE says he doesn’t necessarily have to do anything with the ILLEGALS that Arizona arrests.So I guess he is just going to refuse to do his job? Just another stupid statement by an administration that seems hell bent on it’s own destruction.

First The President of The United States makes disparaging comments about the new Arizona law SB 1070.Then the Attorney General starts commenting on the law.None of his comments in support of the law.Most on the same line as the Presidents.Then Homeland Security Secretary Napolitano start making pretty much the same statements.Apparently this is the Administrations line .Assistant Secretary of State Michael Posner apologizing to COMMUNIST China for Arizona’s law.

Now come the good part: with the possible exception of the President none of them have read the law!!How can this group of people be in charge of the government?They have chosen to ignore the will of the people at every turn.Health care,Immigration enforcement,financial oversight just to name a few.

The federal government has chosen not to support us again!

What does President Obama and the Dems think we are stupid?He wants Amnesty!This isn’t someone that cut in line at the local Walmart!The back of the line is back in their own country.They want to talk about fairness but only fairness to the 11 million pontential receipients of AMNESTY!

What being fair to the millions of good people that want to come to the USA and are doing it the right way?This is just a political ploy to try and help their political futures.

As for the CITIZENS that are supporting the ILLEGALS over their fellow CITIZENS.Maybe we should ask them to give up their CITIZENSHIP and let one of the ILLEGALS take theirs! I am willing to bet theat not many would.

How about letting the AMNESTY happen.The we shut down the immigration for 10-20 years.We have 1.1 million LEGALLY immigrate so if we give 10-20 million ILLEGALS AMNESTY then we should be able to close immigration completely.This would also save billions over a 10-20 year period.

I guess this would shorten that line.

The Bailout shuffle

Apparently the Federal government has figured out a way to pull the wool over our eyes again(big surprise huh?) it seems that they are going to allow GM to pay us back with our own money.GM has not paid anything back from it’s profits as they and the Obama administration are touting.

This is just another shellgame.They borrowed the money from us and put it in an escrow account(in case the neede it) that probably draws interest.Then they take some of it and pay us back with our own money!Sounds like a new scam to me.

When is the Administration going to actually make someone stand up and be held responsible for all of this?Why are we allowing this to happen? The Obama adminstration is counting on the people that elected him to trust him.Or maybe we should just thank him for GM paying us back with our own money.

All of this while GM is trying to bolster it’s European markets with our TARP money.This is why we should have never bailed them out in the first place.

Last week we met with President Obama to discuss our draft framework for action on immigration. We expressed our belief that America’s security and economic well-being depend on enacting sensible immigration policies.
The answer is simple: Americans overwhelmingly oppose illegal immigration Throughout our history, immigrants have contributed to making this country more vibrant and economically dynamic. Once it is clear that in 20 years our nation will not again confront the specter of another 11 million people coming here illegally, Americans will embrace more welcoming immigration policies.
You are correct most Americans do oppose illegal immigration. They also do not support AMNESTY in any form.What these two are doing is AMNESTY and nothing else.They are doing this because they have failed in the past to protect the CITIZENS of the United States.Illegal Immigration is just that ILLEGAL! As representatives of the CITIZENS means they come first.Not the people who have decided to ignore our laws.
Our plan has four pillars: requiring biometric Social Security cards to ensure that illegal workers cannot get jobs; fulfilling and strengthening our commitments on border security and interior enforcement; creating a process for admitting temporary workers; and implementing a tough but fair path to legalization for those already here.
We already have a system in place .The Federal Government has E-Verify.
Statistics are based on fourth quarter FY 2008 (July 2008 through September 2008) E-Verify program transactional data compiled by Westat.
Employees automatically confirmed as work authorized
* 96.9 percent of employees are automatically confirmed as work authorized either instantly or within 24 hours, requiring no employee/employer action.
o This represents an improvement over the 96.1 percent statistic previously reported for the April through June 2008 time period.Employees receiving initial system mismatches

* 3.1 percent of employees receive initial system mismatches (tentative non-confirmations - TNCs)
o 0.3 percent of employees who receive initial mismatches later confirmed work authorized after contesting and resolving the mismatch.
o 2.8 percent of employees receive final non-confirmations (FNCs)
96 percent is better than what you are proposing.
Besides border security, ending illegal immigration will also require an effective employment verification system that holds employers accountable for hiring illegal workers.
E-VERIFY
A tamper-proof ID system would dramatically decrease illegal immigration, experts have said, and would reduce the government revenue lost when employers and workers here illegally fail to pay taxes.
We would require all U.S. citizens and legal immigrants who want jobs to obtain a high-tech, fraud-proof Social Security card. Each card’s unique biometric identifier would be stored only on the card; no government database would house everyone’s information. The cards would not contain any private information, medical information or tracking devices. The card would be a high-tech version of the Social Security card that citizens already have.
That’s really good we all know how well the Social Security card issue went!
Prospective employers would be responsible for swiping the cards through a machine to confirm a person’s identity and immigration status. Employers who refused to swipe the card or who otherwise knowingly hired unauthorized workers would face stiff fines and, for repeat offenses, prison sentences.
We propose a zero-tolerance policy for gang members, smugglers, terrorists and those who commit other felonies after coming here illegally.
It should be a felony to cross our borders illegally.
We would bolster recent efforts to secure our borders by increasing the Border Patrol’s staffing and funding for infrastructure and technology. More personnel would be deployed to the border immediately to fill gaps in apprehension capabilities.
The high tech will not work, BOOTS on the ground will.
Other steps include expanding domestic enforcement to better apprehend and deport those who commit crimes and completing an entry-exit system that tracks people who enter the United States on legal visas and reports those who overstay their visas to law enforcement databases.
Ending illegal immigration, however, cannot be the sole objective of reform. Developing a rational legal immigration system is essential to ensuring America’s future economic prosperity.
Ensuring economic prosperity requires attracting the world’s best and brightest. Our legislation would award green cards to immigrants who receive a PhD or master’s degree in science, technology, engineering or math from a U.S. university. It makes no sense to educate the world’s future inventors and entrepreneurs and then force them to leave when they are able to contribute to our economy.
If they are here illegally they should not be getting an education here .We have our on CITIZENS that could use the help.
Our blueprint also creates a rational system for admitting lower-skilled workers. Our current system prohibits lower-skilled immigrants from coming here to earn money and then returning home. Our framework would facilitate this desired circular migration by allowing employers to hire immigrants if they can show they were unsuccessful in recruiting an American to fill an open position; allowing more lower-skilled immigrants to come here when our economy is creating jobs and fewer in a recession; and permitting workers who have succeeded in the workplace, and contributed to their communities over many years, the chance to earn a green card.
The fact that the employer wants to pay the ILLEGAL immigrant a sub-standard wage doesn’t mean they made an effort.
For the 11 million immigrants already in this country illegally, we would provide a tough but fair path forward. They would be required to admit they broke the law and to pay their debt to society by performing community service and paying fines and back taxes. These people would be required to pass background checks and be proficient in English before going to the back of the line of prospective immigrants to earn the opportunity to work toward lawful permanent residence.
What is this back of the line? I doubt that means the line back in the old country! You can call it what you want it”s AMNESTY!!

The American people deserve more than empty rhetoric and impractical calls for mass deportation. We urge the public and our colleagues to join our bipartisan efforts in enacting these reforms. This is just another Bill of Goods that in 20 years we will be revisiting this all over again.

Does the reform fiasco of 1986 come to mind?The only way to cure the problem is with tough enforcement.

We now have three of our bravest Americans being charged with giving a bloody nose to an Islamic terrorist.The very terrorist that is responsible for Murdering four of our people in Fallujah and the burning their bodies beyond recognition.

They had been looking for him for quite sometime since March 31st 2004.This is while the people of Iraq danced with glee at the sight of it!How can someone dance with joy after witnessing this horror? Is this is the teachings of Islam? Or is it just how little value it has for anyone who is not a believer of Islam.

They are going to take a Courts Marshal in stead of an Article 15 Captains Mast, which would put a blemish on their record.Instead they realize that this has to be put through the justice system, to show how stupid that a bloody nose is all he got.

I am sick of people dancing around the facts:These murderers say they are of Islam.The silence of the Islamic population of these horrible acts tells me that by silence they condone it!

How many times have you heard of an American beheading someone for being Muslim.I don’t recall any. I am Christian and would not tolerate such an act from other Christians.The mere fact that this is SOP from this religion speaks volumes.

This evil person should have just been summarily executed on the battle field.He should never be able to spout his vile beliefs to another human being.I only hope that when not if we find Osama he fights back so one our heros will have to chance to hand out some good ole justice on the spot.

The only thing that I do fault the soldiers for is they should have killed him in the field,by not doing this they have been torturing him by keeping him from his virgins .This is intolerable! He wants to be with Allah? then SEND him ASAP.

Why are we concerned what Jimmy Carter has to say about racism?

Jimmy Carter was raised at a time that using racial slurs was acceptable. I think he has such guilt ridden feelings that he still thinks he must apoligize.Which I am sure he has plenty to apologize for.

I have no intention allowing him and the rest of the Dems to transfer that guilt to me. I oppose Obama due to his policies not his race. Just because Jimmy Carter was an old racist redneck doesn’t mean I am. He needs to retire from diservice to our country.

We all can thank him for the Community Reinvestmen Act of 1977 which set us on the course for this financial disaster. Thank you Jimmy

Sarah Palin resigned today. She stated that she was doing this because Alaska deserves to have an effective Governor and to be with her family. I believe her. I also think she is planning on running for the Presidency.The media thinks this is political suicide. I think they are so cynical that they don’t recognize Integrity when it happens.

She speaks from the heart and not a teleprompter.The thing that bothers me is the sexist attitude about her.The libs want to focus on her looks and not her intellect. Get over it she is a beautiful woman.But she is also and foremost intelligent.She didn’t get to be Governor by being stupid.

The Democrats are immediately saying she is a quitter but what they are really saying is our attacks backfired.They don’t understand that these attacks have just strengthened her.They will see that the type of personal attacks are just beginning to wear thin with the people.If the Dems really thought that she was ending her political career they would just dismiss her as just buckling to the pressure. Look out here she comes!

President Obama says he wants to see how the turmoil in Iran plays out . I guess it’s easier to just watch by the sidelines than to get in and fight these lunatics.We need to let the Iranian people know that we stand with them.

We did not just stand by and see how the USSR “PLAYED OUT”.We were actively trying to undermine the government and should be doing the same thing in Iran.The Mullahs have the crowd chant “DEATH TO AMERICA” for a reason.They use it to control the people of IRAN.This shows how tenuous their grip on power is . This has become clear to the people of Iran.This is why they are defying the religious leaders .

We have nothing to be ashamed of , We need to continue spreading Democracy in any place we can . ALL people should have the right to choose their leaders.To control their destiny should not only be their right but also their responsibility.Democracy is not easy. Neda died for this concept

I have yet to figure out why the Federal government forced banks to take money that they didn’t need or want. My understanding is that they were afraid that if they didn’t take it they would stick out. Yea we wouldn’t want anyone to think you were a responsible financial institution.

How inconsiderate of theses banks to not be seen as just as irresponsible as the ones who drove our economy into the ground.This is just stupid.Why not let the banks fall as they will.
